Did you build this? I'm curious to know motor you used, and what kind of positional accuracy you get.
Everything that has the label projects is something I have built or been directly involved in.It's a little hard to see in this photo, but the laser is mounted on a servo, so it has all of the advantages and disadvantages of using a servo.You can decrease the error if you are willing to spend the money for a very low backlash motor and PID controller or by using a geared stepper motor.
